Announcement! I have just launched the new web site I mentioned last month: Writing for and by Coaches at WritingByCoaches.com. It is designed to assist coaches and consultants to write about their knowledge, wisdom, and experience, especially for publication on the Internet. Please come visit, sign up for the free eBook, Tips to Tap the Writer in the Coach and the Tips to Tap email list. As well, I have a mailing list to announce further additions to the site.
Below are the articles I wrote in April on the Empowerment Blog. I hope you enjoy them. Please make comments on the blog postings, if you feel so inspired.
Feel free to download and forward this Ezine to your friends if you think they'll enjoy it. Be certain to include your own personal message. Anyone is welcome to subscribe to the Email version of JMviews Monthly as well as our other Ezines. You can also subscribe to one of the email alert lists (see below; or see the bottom of the left navigation bar).
You can easily connect to all my web sites, blogs, and ezines by following the links at the bottom of this Ezine.
Make it an Empowering Month!
Jeanie Marshall, Personal Development Coach
Thoughts You Think. I created a new section on the navigation bar at the blog to include some books that focus on the thoughts you think, which is one of the primary principles I work with in my consulting practice. More people are becoming aware of this principle, especially because of the recent popularity of the book and DVD, The Secret. Please read the article, If You Think it, You Can Live it.
For Presenters. Many people admit that they feel stressful about having to make a presentation in front of a group. Even effective and experienced presenters often feel stressed. I provide a list of strategies to assist in Managing Stress When You Present to a Group.
Life and Death. Many people are afraid of death. I write about death from time to time precisely because I have no fear. I am not ready to die, I just have no fear. Sometimes it is helpful to define your terms, which I encourage you to do in Balance of Life and Death.
Listen, Listen, Listen. Listening is generally an underrated skill, and one that I respect deeply. Deep listening is a quality of presence. In Deep Listening: to Listen beyond Understanding, I discuss various aspects of true listening that is based on wisdom rather than skills.
My Other Ezines. On the blog, I announced the publication of my other monthly Ezines:
Empowering Practice "Look for the Joy in Every Experience" is near and dear to my heart. It is an important principle that comes alive in my consulting sessions, whether I use the word "joy" or other words and concepts like empowerment, happiness, satisfaction, peace, and freedom.
When visiting the JMviews Empowerment and Guided Meditation Blog, you can find articles by date, by category, or by placing your pointer on the calendar and surveying the titles. You can also subscribe to one of the RSS feeds.
Remember, you can make a comment on an article I've written on the blog at any time. Your comments come to me for moderation and then are posted. When someone finds my blog for the first time and resonates with the ideas, it's very common for the person to read many, even all, of the entries regardless of date, so your comments will be read by others.
When you write a comment on the blog, you must include a valid email address (which only I will see) and your name (your first name or a screen name is sufficient). You may, of course, include your full name and a web site, if you have one. Your email address will never be added to a list without your request and confirmation. Your comment will be sent to me so that I can moderate. This gives me a chance to read your comment before it's posted. I respond to each comment.
